The coins by the op were produce by the Franklin mint (I am reasonable sure) and I doubt there are many even in Liberia. I do not think these coins are ugly. They were produce in England and were circulated in Liberia. BTW, when these were circulating, they were interchangeable with the American coinage and bills – one for one.
